One man is going beyond the call of duty to brighten up the commuters’ day.
Carriages on London’s underground network are being given a makeover by a mystery artist who boards a carriage to decorate it with balloon dogs he makes. The passenger then ties his creations to the handrails.
According to ITV News, a fellow passenger, Julia Boggio said:
“A man just came onto the tube, put up loads of balloon dogs and then sat down to read a book.”
The brightly coloured balloons were first spotted on Monday and have so far only been seen on the Northern Line which runs from Morden to Barnet.
The activity is a welcome addition to morning commuter journeys, with Twitter users posting their delight at the surprise animals:
