Met Eireann Issues Weather Warning Ahead Of Bank Holiday Weekend

We’ve enjoyed a nice stretch of weather recently but it’s not only festivalgoers who will be needing their wellies this weekend.

Met Eireann has issued a national Status Orange today, warning that heavy and persistent rain expected in the Leinster area over the coming days.

This is bad news for those heading to the Castlepalooza and Indiependence festivals, with rainfall amounts of 40 to 70 mm expected to fall between Saturday morning and the early hours of Sunday.
