We’re hiring! Again! Would you like to be the Editor of our brand new sister site, HerFamily.ie?
Maximum Media, the company behind Her.ie and JOE.ie, has grown hand over hand over fist over fist over the last four years. And now the time has come to grow even more, with the addition of two new standalone sites, HerFamily.ie and SportsJOE.ie.
HerFamily.ie, a lifestyle website for parents with a primarily female focus which will cover all stages of parenting in new and innovative ways, is scheduled to launch later this year, and we’re seeking an Editor for the latest arrival on the Irish new media scene.
HerFamily.ie will take a fresh approach to how content is produced for parents in Ireland. Becoming a parent does not mean other aspects of your personality disappear, so HerFamily.ie will provide informative news and advice for parents while retaining all the elements that have helped to make Her.ie and JOE.ie such a success – being humorous, fun and Irish.
To do all that, we need an Editor – and this is where you come in, because you, or someone you know, could be just the person to shape the future of news, views, information and entertainment for parents in Ireland.
Some of the responsibilities of the HerFamily.ie Editor will include:
Working closely with the Maximum Media Editorial Director to formulate a content strategy to make HerFamily.ie the go-to place for all parenting news, info and advice
Recruiting and moulding a team of journalists to help deliver the best content that talent can offer, across all formats
Plan content weeks, months and even years in advance, while at the same time putting in place a mechanism to ensure that the site remains relevant, current and topical every day
A commitment to the highest standards of website user experience
Collaborating with Business Development and Client Services teams across multiple campaigns
A background in digital journalism is essential and experience in a senior editorial role would be a distinct advantage.
