Simon Cowell and David Walliams are known for having a fraught relationship, Simon is serious and David… well, he just loves the craic.
However, last night he annoyed Simon (and the other Britain’s Got Talent judges) when he backed Sex Bomb singer Christian Spridon.
So determined was David to keep Christian in the competition he climbed onto the judging table to protect his buzzer from the other judges, as pressing it would knock Christian out.
Simon managed to hit David’s buzzer and it looked like it was the end of the road for Christian, until David slammed the golden buzzer.
This move put Christian straight through to the semi finals and Simon was pretty angry asking David, “What the bloody hell did you do that for?”
We won’t say more as the video below is worth a watch for the comedic value!
It looks as though David knows his decision isn’t appreciated by everyone, judging by a tweet he sent after the show aired last night.
