The piece comes just months after Cilla Black’s death was chronicled by the paper with a queue of people lining up to get into heaven ahead of the TV presenter with the caption: ‘Sorry about the long queue, Cilla. There are thousands of illegals trying to get in…’

Spotted by i100, this morning’s piece was reminiscent of an Austrian Nazi propaganda depicting Jews fleeing Germany and being turned away by the rest of "democratic" Europe:
