Usually people react in the opposite way and criticise mothers for doing this but refreshingly it's been mostly positive feedback that Thandie received with other mothers and people in general praising her. One person said, "Good for you!! I breastfed constantly in public as I was lucky to be able to take my son to work with me. It's so natural but absurd that we have to deal with all the negativity. Keep showing your bravery & choice to put your child's needs first. I'm proud of you! I hope you are proud of yourself as well:) We need to support each other mamas!" And another commented, "Good for you, its a beautiful natural thing mothers should be free to feed there child/children if there hungry, and if there that proud of having a picture done of them feeding like you are then good for them no one should be ashamed except for the haters." It's received over 9,000 likes so far and continues to grow with people showing support for her.
