Forget Tinder, or you know, normal ways to meet someone. This man took a gamble to find a wife… by advertising in a London shop window.
The hand-made sign lovingly seeks a woman for ‘wifely dutys’, reading:
“RENT AND FOOD FREE
GENTLEMAN LOOKING FOR A LADY TO LIVE WITH HIM.
MUST PERFORM ALL WIFELY DUTYS.
NO CHILDEN
PHONE GERRY ON xxxxx”
And they say all the good ones are taken.
