Sue’s Choice: A Beautiful Tribute

Sue says: Despite the fact that the news of Robin Williams death was one of the most heartbreaking things to happen this year, the tributes that have been paid to the actor have been absolutely lovely. This one from Jimmy Fallon particularly got to me, he could barely get through the first sentence without crying. So incredibly sad.

Cathy’s Choice: Smiley Face

Cathy says: I’m mad about emojis and can go a little overboard when it comes to using them, particularly when it’s something I’m excited about. So when I came across these t-shirts I decided I had to have one. Embarrassed monkeys, love heart smileys and dancing senoritas… what’s not to love?!

Rebecca’s Choice: Better Call Saul

Rebecca says: My favourite story this week was the teaser trailer for Better Call Saul, the spin-off/prequel to Breaking Bad. Liz says: So to say I love Emma Stone is an understatement. She’s pretty much the ultimate girl crush AND she can sing. Now she’s rumoured to be taking a trip on the boards of Broadway, and if it all comes to plan it’d be the same week I’m visiting the Big Apple. Keeping every finger, toes, arms, body crossed this actually happens. Have you heard her belt out a tune in Easy A? She’s awesome.

Marie’s Choice: When Paddy Met Steve

Marie says: My favourite story this week has to be the tale of poor Steve, who accidentally texted Paddy Power instead of Jess, whom he met in Dicey’s the night before. The ensuing banter was nothing short of hilarious and Steve proved to be an absolute legend by taking the eventual reveal in his stride. If you haven’t seen this already, take five minutes and have a good giggle.
