Yesterday, the world was rocked at the news that one of the brightest lights in music had gone out.
It was confirmed that David Bowie had lost an eighteen month battle with cancer aged 69, and died peacefully surrounded by friends and family.
His recently released album Blackstar took on a whole new poignancy, and his final single Lazarus became a moving swansong.
Fans all over the world took to the best outlet they could find, social media, to express their grief and celebrate the artist.
Now, more than 24 hours on, newspapers all over the world are emblazoned with moving tributes on their front covers, as we all unite in saying goodbye to a legend.
