Cook with Avonmore – Beetroot and Orange Salad with Sour Cream and Onions

Fed up with the same boring salads? Tonight, try something new and exciting in the first of our Tried & Tested 'Cook with Avonmore' recipes.

As much as we love salads, there’s only so much of the ‘same old same’ we can take!

In the first of our regular ‘Cook with Avonmore’ recipes, we bring you a salad that we think is something special, and it couldn’t be any easier to make.


Ingredients 

170ml (6fl. Oz) Avonmore Sour Cream

250g packet of pre-cooked beetroot (with no added vinegar)

Segments taken from 2 oranges

Greens of 2 scallions, sliced finely

1 small or ½ large red onion, sliced finely

1 small or ½ large white onion, sliced finely

Method

Arrange all ingredients on a salad plate, drizzle with Avonmore Sour Cream & enjoy. We did promise it couldn’t be any easier after all!
