Earlier this week, the video of three-year-old Scarlett David participating in the #ALSIceBucketChallenge made headlines when the little girl used a swear word.
However, Scarlett’s grandmother Carla Davis-Ball has encouraged the little girl to apologise for using the “naughty” word.
In the video below, Carla tells Scarlett to explain that she knows the word was naughty and won’t be using it again. Before jumping up from the chair and running off, Scarlett-Rose says: ‘It was a naughty word, and I’m not gonna say it again”.
Carla allowed Scarlett, who lives in Walsall, England, to participate in the challenge after the three-year-old pleaded with her but she poured hot water instead of cold over the little girl.
The ice bucket challenge has raised over €1.1 million for motor neurone disease (also referred to as ALS, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) in Ireland alone.
