This couple got married during Ophelia and the pictures are just breathtaking

When it comes to making wedding plans, most brides and grooms agree that the weather is anything but dependable.

Still, when Tristan and Colette decided on Monday, October 15 for their Big Day... they probably didn't consider that an ex-hurricane could be brewing. [caption id="attachment_370982" align="alignnone" width="6000"] © SEAN ELLIOTT PHOTOGRAPHY[/caption] And the resulting snaps - captured by talented photographer Sean Elliott - are nothing short of breathtaking. [caption id="attachment_370989" align="alignnone" width="5953"] © SEAN ELLIOTT PHOTOGRAPHY[/caption] Tristan, 30, and Colette, 33, had woken up on Monday to eerie, orange-hued mists and a hazy red sun - the result of Ophelia blowing red Saharan dust towards Europe. [caption id="attachment_370987" align="alignnone" width="6000"] © SEAN ELLIOTT PHOTOGRAPHY[/caption] Afterwards the bride told Mirror.co.uk that the setting "was like walking onto a film set". She added: "It was really spooky but really atmospheric - so striking." And Colette agreed that the photos were "amazing". "We couldn’t believe it when we saw them," she explained. "Sean is such a talented photographer... It was very Tess of the d'Urbervilles, or Great Gatsby." They had held their reception at the 17th-century Ellingham Hall. Sharing the photos on Facebook, Sean Elliott called the weather that day "nothing short of Biblical".
