Is a When Harry Met Sally sequel in the works?

When Harry Met Sally actors Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal have finally reunited for a special project.

The actors starred in the iconic Rob Reiner and Nora Ephron rom-com in 1989.

Their reunion stunned fans of the classic rom-com with many hoping for a potential sequel.

However, others are convinced the rom-com duo will be starring in a commercial for the upcoming Super Bowl.

Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal recreated a scene from the movie to confirm the news.

The actors are pictured in a set that looks exactly like the one from their final scene in the movie.

Alongside the heartwarming photo of her and Billy Crystal, Meg Ryan wrote, “It’s finally happening, we’re reuniting for something iconic. Can’t wait to show you all soon.”

Billy Crystal is also wearing one of Harry’s iconic outfits from the movie which has left many fans feeling hopeful about a sequel.

We’re not so sure if we need a sequel to the already perfect rom-com but seeing the lead actors together again is pretty special.

Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal starred as Sally Albright and Harry Burns in the iconic Nora Ephron movie.

Harry and Sally first meet as graduates after they agree to drive from the University of Chicago to New York together.

They immediately clash when Harry tells Sally he doesn’t believe men and women can be friends. They say their goodbyes once they reach New York but fate intervenes and they meet again five years later.

In 1982, they bump into one another in an airport but they don’t become friends until they meet again in 1987.

Harry and Sally finally agree to form a friendship but the question lingers, “Can men and women ever just be friends?”

If you’ve not yet watched the rom-com then do yourself a favour and put it at the top of your watchlist.
