The darker evenings are the perfect excuse to have a cozy movie night and I’ve found another rom-com you’re going to love.
Streaming services have been pumping new rom-coms out like there’s no tomorrow, but do they stand up to classics like ‘When Harry Met Sally’? Not all the time, but they’re so easy to watch.
Rom-coms are the perfect thing to tune into after a long day in college or a stressful day at work. Netflix has crafted perfect modern-day rom-coms like ‘Set It Up’ and ‘Your Place or Mine?’ but Amazon Prime is giving the streaming service a run for its money.
Amazon is full of adorable new rom-coms like ‘Meet Cute’, ‘Red, White, and Royal Blue’ and ‘Something from Tiffany’s’, but it’s their latest rom-com that’s getting a lot of attention online.
Starring ‘After’ actress Josephine Langford and ‘Outer Banks’ actor Drew Starkey, ‘The Other Zoey’ needs to go to the top of your watch list.

It’s a modern-day version of ‘While You Were Sleeping’ and while it doesn’t have the same magic or Sandra Bullock and Bill Pullman’s chemistry, it’s still an enjoyable watch.
‘The Other Zoey’ follows college student Zoey who lies about being footballer player Zach’s girlfriend after he gets amnesia.

The synopsis reads:
‘Zoey is a brilliant college student who’s determined to challenge the conventional ideas of love and dating. Her life soon gets turned upside down when an amnesiac mistakenly believes she’s his girlfriend, who also happens to share the name Zoey.’
Drew Starkey has major leading man potential and Zoey (Josephine Langford) is one of the most likable rom-com leads we’ve seen on screen in some time.
The movie is cheesy, sweet, a little ridiculous, and only 1 hour and 26 minutes long. What more could you ask for?
