The Raid took the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival by storm back in 2012. Director Gareth Evans was the darling of the festival who even received a massive standing ovation after the screening.
The film was entirely shot in Indonesia and the crew were entirely unprepared for the popularity of the film internationally; The Raid was one of the year’s greatest success story.
Evans confirmed that the Raid 2 would be on the way shortly and even though we have seen a couple of teasers, we were really waiting patiently for the official trailer.
We just watched it. We can’t wait.
