It was bound to cause a bit of tension.
Tonight’s challenge was a difficult one as the Islanders found out what the papers have been saying about them.
One headline really hit home with Ovie, as “LOVE ISLAND FANS ACCUSE INDIA OF ONLY LIKING OVIE TO WIN THE £50K” was read out.
It clearly took Ovie by surprise as he said to Amber that he’s never sure of people’s intentions because of his profession.
“As an athlete, people use you…a lot,” he told her.
Amber reassured Ovie that India genuinely likes him and said: “From my point of view, she seems like a nice girl. I don’t get that vibe from her.”
Then speaking with Belle and Harley on the day beds, India said: “I’m more upset for Ovie. I don’t want him to think that about me or for him to have any doubt in his mind about me. I like him.”
