The Hunger Games: The Exhibition will be launching as a touring attraction in 2015, it has been revealed.

Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer confirmed the news of the exhibition which will be managed by the Thinkwell Group.

The US exhibition will feature a variety of costumes, props and other things that featured in the blockbuster movies which have so far grossed more than $1.5 billion.

There are two films left in the franchise, Mockingjay Part 1 and 2, with the latter being released on November 20th, 2015.

“Now that we’ve built a critical mass of intellectual property, we’re committed to extending our brands into exciting new businesses that create opportunities for our fans to engage with our properties at the same time they deliver significant incremental financial benefits to Lionsgate,” said Lionsgate chief marketing officer Tim Palen.

The exhibition will feature in “major museums and institutions” with a multimedia promotional effort and advance ticket sales.
