A Sansa spin-off, anyone?

*spoilers ahead*

Okay, so we’re all on a bit of a come down since the last episode of Game of Thrones aired.

It was… an unexpected end, to say the least.

Jon killed Dany, and was exiled to the Night’s Watch as a result – despite it being somewhat of a mercy killing.

Sansa claimed the north as her own, becoming Queen of the region.

Ayra pissed off west of Westeros, to discover the rest of the world.

And of course, Bran Stark took the crown, and became King of the six kingdoms.

Anyway, it kind of left us all hanging on, wanting more.

But, according to Sophie Turner, who played Sansa Stark for a decade, there’s no plan for a spin off about her character.

She was asked by Sky News if she’d be up for reprising the role of Sansa in the future, and her answer was a pretty firm no.

“I think it’s time to say goodbye to Sansa,” she explained.

“I’m ready… ish, to say goodbye to her. I think my watch has ended. It’s been 10 years of my life and the best 10 years of my life by far. I finished in a very happy place with Sansa and it’s time to let her go.”

She also made the point that stepping back into Sansa’s shoes could be kind of traumatic, considering the character history.
