Today, the 'Game of Thrones' alum has hard launched her new relationship with British Aristocrat, Peregrine Pearson, on Instagram. This is her first romance since she and her estranged husband filed for divorce in September 2023.

Given the reaction to the former couple's very public split, one would be forgiven for assuming the comment section would be filled with finger-wagging and more accusations about Sophie as a mother (though it's, sadly, not entirely free of this negative commentary).

A stream of support and love from the girlies outweighs the negative messages, proving that when women support women it's heartwarming, wholesome, and empowering.

Throughout the comments, the actress has been hailed once more as the 'Queen in the North' for giving 'Sansa' energy in the post.

Fans of the fictional show will know that Sophie's character, Sansa Stark, was a pillar of strength, redemption, and power, despite being pushed to the brink on many occasions.

Sansa had a comeback much more powerful than that of any other character, going from a timid, naive, and trapped young girl, to the all-mighty and fierce Queen in the North.

In what could have been a pile-on, fans have collectively rushed to applaud Sophie's new relationship.

As she said herself: "2023 was the year of the girlies. 2024s forecast is looking fairly consistent."
