I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: The Oscars are a farce.
The category ‘Best Picture’ is incredibly misleading as all the nominees were FILMS and there was not a single picture among them. Spotlight was the eventual winner of the award but, as expected, it is indeed a film and not a picture.
Here’s what I feel should’ve been nominated for Best Picture at this year’s Oscars.
1. That time Joan Burton rocked the boat a little too hard.
2. When a randy horse tried to ride a Garda.
3. The time Michael D. Higgins became a biker boii.
4. This impatient cow waiting to go home.
5. When a guy a brought his sheep for a walk.
6. This ass trying to mooch his way onto the bus.
7. When a guy got stuck in a child’s seat in McDonalds and his embarrassed little face was everything.
8. Michael D. Higgins being adorable in the ATM queue.
So we don’t get sued:
