Mary Fitzgerald says Christine Quinn doesn’t want to “face everything she’s done”

The reunion will air on 6 May.

Ahead of the release of the first Selling Sunset reunion, Mary Fitzgerald has commented on Christine Quinn’s absence, and has expressed doubts over whether her co-star truly had Covid-19.

Last week, it was revealed that Christine would miss the reunion after she said she tested positive for Covid-19. However, her on-screen boss and former friend Mary has said that Christine “doesn’t want to face everything she’s done”, and that is the reason she won’t appear.

When asked by TMZ if she believed Christine had Covid when filming was due to take place, Mary said: “I mean me personally, no because we all tested on Tuesday and again on Friday.”

The tabloid then asked her why she thinks Christine would want to miss the reunion. To this, Mary answered: “Probably because she didn’t want to face everything she’s done. I honestly don’t know. I really don’t know. I mean that would be my guess. But I mean it’s sad.”

The realtor continued: “We all showed up, we didn’t want to have to talk to her about her actions, and I’m sure she didn’t want to have to have answers for her actions. So we didn’t want to be there talking about it either, but it’s our job. We’re doing it.”

Mary isn’t the only one to express doubts over Christine’s excuse.

Earlier this week, when TMZ reported that Quinn would miss it due to Covid-19 isolation, Chirshell Stause responded on Twitter with a gif that said: “And the lie detector test determined that was a lie!”

The Selling Sunset reunion, which was filmed recently, is set to air on Netflix on 6 May, and Mary, Chrishell, Emma Hernan, Chelsea Lazkani, Heather Rae El Moussa, Maya Vander, Davina Potratz, Amanza Smith, Vanessa Villela and Jason and Brett Oppenheim are all expected to reflect on the explosive fifth season.
