80s kids, it’s time to indulge in some serious nostalgia.
The puppet show, originally created by Jim Henson, is returning to the screens of HBO but this time in HD.
Anyone born in the 80s will remember Fraggle Rock was shown during the 90s, where kids everywhere were stuck to their screens watching the adventures of lovable creatures like the Doozers, the Silly Creatures, the Gorgs and most importantly, the Fraggles.
According to Henson.com, the iconic show will be digitally remastered and available by the end of the year.
Richard Goldsmith of the Jim Henson Company cemented the exciting news.
“HBO was the initial home for the U.S. premiere of Fraggle Rock in 1983, and it’s fitting that the network premieres this beautifully remastered version of the series…
“Fans will delight in seeing this newly formatted series, and we’ll engage a whole new audience who will love meeting the Fraggles, Gorgs and Doozers.”
