Die-hard Home and Away fans might be excited to hear that Bec Hewitt (Hayley Smith) is rumoured to be making a return to Summer Bay.
The actress quit the popular Australian soap in 2005 and married her husband tennis star, Lleyton Hewitt that same year.
Women’s Day, an Australian magazine, reported that a source claims Bec is planning to reprise her role as Hayley, the character she played from 1998 to 2005.

“Hayley is coming back after a decade as an older beauty with great character and impeccable morals – and sparks fly with a younger man”, said the source.
The magazine also revealed that Hayley was due to make her comeback 18 months ago as Lleyton, with who Bec has three children, Mia (9), Ava (4) and Cruz (6), was expected to retire.
When this didn’t happen, she posptoned her comeback although exactly when her return will take place is anybody’s guess!
