After being dumped from Love Island, Tom has this to say about his Hideaway comment

Olivia Hayes

It was probably the worst thing he could have said.

It was a shock tonight as Tom was dumped from Love Island. Along with Arabella, he had to say goodbye to his fellow islanders and leave as they were voted out in a shock elimination.

Of course, Tom wasn’t a popular person in the villa due to some comments he made – mainly the Hideaway one.

We all know the one. Maura won a challenge and was rewarded with a night in the hideaway with a man of her choice.

She chose Tom, but he messed it all up by being a Lad and saying he wondered if she was “all mouth.”

Now that Tom has been dumped from the island, he said that he didn’t mean to say those words. During his exit interview, he said: “Obviously [I regret] the Hideaway comment. I just got ahead of myself and I made an out of character remark.”

Mmm hmm.

He was also asked if he could do it all over again, would he still couple up with Maura. To this he replied: “There wasn’t really another option. I said what I said about her being OTT etc because it was early days and I was sound boarding off people. I perhaps should have just been straight from the off.”

Sad to see him go? Yeah, neither are we.
