You’d almost forget that Disney is famed for its animated classics given the amount of live-action projects they're backing in recent years...
The studio has announced that it’s to take on a live-action movie of 101 Dalmatians with villain Cruella De Vil as the main character in the story.
Titled Cruella, the movie will be written by Aline Brosh McKenna, who also wrote Kenneth Branagh's upcoming live-action take on Cinderella.
This of course isn’t the first time that the villain has been portrayed in a live-action movie.
Previously Glenn Close has taken on the role and although she isn’t expected to reprise as the character she has signed on as executive producer for this project.

Cruella is the latest villain to get her own film following Sleeping Beauty’s baddie Maleficent, who will be portrayed by Angelina Jolie.
