A fantastic choice!

Cat Deeley, 47, is joining ITV’s This Morning as a new host.

The media personality will be joining Rylan Clark for the mid-morning talk show on Monday, November 13th.

Sources revealed to The Sun that ITV bosses have been ‘keen’ to get Cat to be part of the ITV team as she is a ‘seasoned pro’.

They added that she has impressed bosses as she ‘takes live TV in her stride and is really witty and personable with guests’, adding that if all goes well, Cat would make the perfect permanent solution to take Holly Willoughby’s seat on the ‘This Morning’ couch.

“She is comfortable interviewing both pop stars and politicians, so if it goes well she could be a much more permanent solution to Holly leaving. Cat would be a safe captain to steady the ship,” the source told the outlet.

“Rylan was a resounding success too, so fans can expect to see a lot more of him in the future.

It is expected that Cat will host with Rylan for two days before hosting with Craig Doyle on Wednesday, November 15th.

Alison Hammond and Craig will be at the helm of the show on Thursday before Alison and Dermot O’Leary finish off the week.

This comes following Holly’s shock and unexpected departure from the show last month due to an alleged kidnapping and murder plot against her.

Since Holly’s exit after 14 years on the show, ITV has been on the hunt to replace the former host, looking for a permanent replacement.
