It’s safe to say that we all love Derry Girls.
After first arriving onto our screens last year, it was the perfect comedy to sit back and relax to. It’s witty and smart and emotional and it has a special place in the hearts of fans.
With two seasons in, it has grown a massive cult following, so when it didn’t win a BAFTA last night, people were mad.
HBO comedy Sally4Ever won the prestigious award, and Derry Girls fans took to Twitter to share their shock:

However, even with all that, Derry Girls star Nicola Coughlan shared a heartwarming post about the cast:
We didn’t win a @BAFTA but we did look like a pack of rides ? pic.twitter.com/DEwGnrlsEZ
