Rumours of a Phillip Schofield TV return on ‘I’m A Celeb’ have been doing the rounds.
Yet things aren’t looking too promising for the disgraced star as one of his former This Morning co-hosts has decided to voice her opinion on the situation.
After being asked by Big Brother evictee Simon Gross if she could see her old friend entering the jungle, Vanessa Feltz didn’t mince her words.
Speaking at the London Lifestyle she said she would shocked if she saw Phillip on the reality show.
“I don’t know anything about it at all but I would be absolutely flabbergasted if that were true,” Vanessa admitted.
She urged people to “put your money on him going nowhere near the place” and when asked if he could enter Big Brother next year, Vanessa said “absolutely not.”
When asked if she could see politician Nigel Farage tackling some Bush-Tucker Trials the 61-year-old seemed more hopeful replying: “He’s entertaining, he’s funny, he’s got a lot of charm,” quipping that the jungle was “the best place for him”.
Phil hasn’t been on our TV screens since he announced his departure from This Morning after it came to light that he had been in a relationship with a younger runner on the show.
He later claimed that the affair was “unwise but not illegal,” and denied claims that he had groomed the employee.
If Phil is set to enter the ‘I’m A Celebrity’ jungle, he certainly will not be the first controversial star to appear on the show.
Last year, fans and celebrity campmates alike were shocked when former Health Secretary, Matt Hancock, arrived in camp as a latecomer with Seann Walsh.
