There’s still no release date for season three of Bridgerton
Bridgerton lead Jonathan Bailey has shared an update on the third season.
Fans of the show are desperately waiting for Netflix to share a launch date for the third series, which was delayed due to the actors and writers strike.
The delayed release of season three has caused quite a lot of uproar amongst fans, but the cast promises it will be worth the wait.
Jonathan Bailey told E! News that the upcoming episodes are “tantalising”.
He told the publication, “It’s going to be tantalising. It’s going to be good.”
Bailey confirmed his on-screen brother, Luke Newton will lead this series as Colin Bridgerton.
Irish actress and Derry Girls star Nicola Coughlan also leads the series as Penelope Featherington.
He added, “And also, my brother Luke Newton is bringing the heat with Nicola. So it’s going to be great.”
Nicola Coughlan expressed her heartache over the show’s delays, but she said it is in Netflix’s hands.
Speaking on her Instagram, the actress said: “Guys, if you think you can’t wait for things I’ve filmed to come out in 2024, I totally get you, I feel the same!
“I’m not allowed to share anything till the powers that be give me the ok. Very excited to share everything with you once I’m allowed,” she stressed.
Recent reports claimed that Bridgerton likely won’t air until spring/summer 2024.
