Singer Selena Gomez has ended her working relationship with her parents, Mandy Teefy and stepfather, Brian Teefy.
E! News reports that this was a decision they were talking about for some time and that Selena wants to separate business and family by hiring a professional to manage her affairs.
“This has been going on for a while” a source said. “This didn’t just happen yesterday.”
It’s reported that her parents were initially taken back by her decision, but now “everything is fine,” “They’re all good” the source added.
Sources tell TMZ that the pop starlet fired her mother and stepfather last month, and that this move is permanent.
“Selena feels she’s outgrown her parents” they said.
