Actress Saoirse Ronan has opened up about her future plans to have children.
In a new interview with British Vogue, the Little Women star said she is hoping to have a family of her own one day.
Ronan is notoriously private about her personal life but opened up about her hopes for the future in the rare interview.
She told the publication that she's grateful she'll be able to step back from her career when she wants to start trying for a child.
The Brooklyn star said: "I became successful when I was quite young. So it meant that, actually, by the time I found my partner, I'm now at the stage where, if it happened, I would like to have a kid.
"I feel fortunate enough that, if I step out of this for a minute, I'm hopefully not giving it up forever. But, yeah, I've always wanted that," she confirmed.
Ronan married Slow Horses actor Jack Lowden in August, but kept details about their wedding to herself.
The actress is reportedly very protective of her personal life and is reluctant to share too much about it.
Ronan married the Scottish actor in a private ceremony in Edinburgh in August.
A small number of their closest friends reportedly attended the event.
The Independent reported: "Only a handful of the couple’s closest friends were present – and all the guests were sworn to secrecy."
The Irish actress has been dating Jack Lowden since they worked together on Mary Queen of Scots in 2018.
