Omid Scobie published a shocking book about the royal family

Royal reporter, Omid Scobie has caused a lot of controversy following the release of his book ‘Endgame’.

The book features a wave of royal controversies and allegations, but there is one in particular that everyone is talking about this morning.

In the Dutch copy of the book, the royal family member who asked what colour Archie’s skin would be was accidentally revealed.

According to reports, the translation accidentally features the name of the senior royal that Meghan and Harry revealed was incredibly racist when they shared their pregnancy news.

During their famous interview with Oprah, the pair confirmed that one family member expressed concerns about their son’s skintone.

Meghan Markle told Oprah:  “In those months when I was pregnant, all around this same time . . . so we have in tandem the conversation of ‘He won’t be given security, he’s not going to be given a title’ and also concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he’s born.”

The book reportedly names the royal family member that was concerned but it is being pulled from the shelves.

The Dutch publisher issued a statement this morning:

“[We are] temporarily withdrawing the book by Omid Scobie from sale. An error occurred in the Dutch translation and is currently being rectified.”

Scobie stressed that the error is not his fault, but stressed that the issue is under control.

He told RTL Boulevard: “I wrote and edited the English version. There’s never been no version I’ve produced which has names in it.”

‘Endgame’ is Scobie’s second book about the royals. He also penned a book called ‘Finding Freedom’ after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down as senior royals.
