Jennifer Aniston could well be in the race for an Oscar nomination following rave reviews of her new movie Cake.
The movie screened at the Toronto Film Festival back in September and it was extremely well-received. The dark comedy was one of the festival’s hits and Aniston received a standing ovation for her performance as a woman who is very depressed and uses prescription medication to help her cope.
As a result of the good reaction to the movie, it has been revealed that the film’s producers will now be releasing the movie in the USA in December of this year in order for it to be out in time for the Oscars.
It is believed that Aniston could be in line for a ‘Best Actress’ nomination.
The Oscars take place on February 22nd, 2015 in Hollywood where Neil Patrick Harris will be the host.
