He may be known for playing the bumbling Mr Bean but actor Rowan Atkinson showed he is a good man to have in a crisis this week as he rushed to the aid of a injured motorist.
According to The Telegraph, Atkinson was driving through the Italian countryside with a convoy of McLaren F1 enthusiasts when one of the vehicles veered of the road and crashed into a tree. The actor, who also appeared as spy Johnny English, quickly reacted and abandoned his car to help the American businessman who had been injured in the collision.
Italian police and firefighters were called to the scene and the driver was flown to a hospital in Pisa but it is understood that his injuries were not serious.
