Jamie Dornan returns to our screens this coming Sunday in series two of acclaimed drama series The Fall.

Thirty two-year-old Jamie plays Paul Spector, who leads the double life of family man and chilling serial killer.

Speaking to the RTÉ Guide, Jamie admitted that this role has affected him deeply and it’s not an easy one to shake off when he leaves work.

“I did dream of Spector and they were not very pleasant dreams. It can be hard to leave him but it has been two years since we shot the first series, so I hope he has left me at some point” revealed Jamie.

In a separate interview, the Belfast born actor said that series two takes a different direction in comparison to the first one.

Jamie said:“I think there’s a slightly different tone with the second series, which is going to surprise people.

“We set out a lot of things in the first, where it was more about the act [of killing], and maybe the second series is more about what activates the act and the hunt for Spector”.

The Fall return to RTÉ One this Sunday 9th November at 10:30 pm.
