Former X Factor star Ray Quinn has just been announced as winner of the ninth and final series of Dancing On Ice.
25-year-old Ray beat Olympic gymnast Beth Tweddle and actress Hayley Tamaddon in the final, as the competition drew to a close.
Ray said after his winning performance with professional partner Maria Filippov: “I am absolutely buzzing, over the moon. Drinks are on me!”
He added that he hoped the series would return one day: “I think it’s got life left in it, definitely.”
Skating legends Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean performed their last televised rendition of their iconic Bolero routine, on tonight’s show.
To mark the end of the show’s run, presenters Phillip Schofield and Christine Bleakley also took to the ice for a mini routine, along with the judges.
