EastEnders star Ricky Norwood will apparently meet with show bosses this week to discuss a Skype video in which he is allegedly seen smoking marijuana and performing a sex act.
According to The Sun on Sunday the 28-year-old actor, who plays Fatboy in the soap, is naked and smoking a joint in the eight-minute clip.
An insider explained: “He’s being hauled in on Monday so we can get to the bottom of this. Nobody’s happy about it – he’s let himself and the show down.”
The newspaper also reports that it appears the girl on the other end of the Skype call filmed the conversation in the hope of selling it onto a website.
Only time will tell if Ricky will face disciplinary action over the video. A spokeswoman for EastEnders told the Daily Mail: “We will be meeting with Ricky early next week to discuss this matter. We are unable to comment any further at this stage.”
Ricky Norwood has played Fatboy on the soap since 2010.
