Her sister has said that she’s “doing well.”
Demi Lovato suffered from an apparent drug overdose in July, with her entering rehab shortly after.
Details about the singer’s recovery have so far been kept under wraps, however her younger sister Madison de la Garza has revealed how Demi is doing on a podcast with Millennial Hollywood.
Speaking on the show, the 16-year-old said: “She’s working really hard on her sobriety and we’re all so incredibly proud of her. It’s been crazy for our family. It’s been a lot.
“Every time we go through something, we always come out on the other side a hundred times stronger than before, and so we’ve just been um we’ve been so thankful for everything. For the little things,” Madison said.
Last month, Madison shared a heartfelt tribute to Demi on her birthday.
Taking to Instagram, she wrote: “Today could have been one of the worst days of my life, but instead I get to spend it thanking God, the incredible doctors, Demi’s team, and everyone across the world who offered their support – without all of these people I wouldn’t have my big sister anymore.”
