Angie took things a step too far.

After leaving the Celebrity Big Brother house on Friday, Angie Best has been doing some media appearances and today, she appeared on Loose Women.

As Angie’s fellow housemate, Coleen Nolan, is a regular panelist on the chat show, her colleagues were eager to find out how she is really doing and if things are as bad as they seem on TV.

They also said that the Coleen we’re seeing isn’t the Coleen they know and her one-liners and good humour aren’t coming to the fore at all.

The Loose Women ladies suggested that Angie’s detox advice may not have come at the best time for Coleen, who had recently opened up on the show about problems in her marriage with Ray Fensome.

Angie said that she wasn’t aware of that situation but that she didn’t know if it would have made any difference to the conversations she had with Coleen during the ‘January Detox’ task.

During the show, the clip of which you can see in full below, Angie said:

“I didn’t know, no. But I don’t know if I would have been any different because it’s her marriage problems that have made her lose her mojo.

“I had to go in and let her understand what she has got to help herself. I wasn’t going to go, ‘Oh baby, I’m sorry”.

Lisa Riley, then suggested that maybe Coleen had so much going on in her life that she didn’t need advice about losing weight, suggesting that perhaps she’s not in the “right mindset”.

“If she’s having the marital problems, the last thing she wants to think about is training and weight loss.

“Take one step at at time, she’s already going through that.

“The last thing she probably wants to hear is to lose weight”.

Angie then responded with:

“But maybe if she taken that on board sooner, she wouldn’t have marital problems”.

The girls disagreed completely and Angie defended herself by saying that she thinks Coleen needs to get her confidence back.

Lisa agreed but said Angie could have gone at this with a “sisterhood” approach.

You can see the conversation unfold from the Loose Women clip below.
