Apparently she ticks almost all of the boxes..
Amber Heard has the most beautiful face in the world, according to science at least.
While the aftermath of her high-profile defamation case against Johnny Depp has seen the 36-year-old actor’s reputation heavily damaged, she still falls into the ‘golden ratio’.
This ratio of ‘Phi’ can be found throughout nature and many other facets of life and while math might not sound like anything to do with attractiveness or so-called ‘beauty’, it’s all about symmetry and proportionality.
Back in 2016, Dr Julian De Silva of the Centre for Advanced Facial Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery in London, found that Heard ticked almost all the boxes.
Speaking to Us Weekly, De Silva utilised a face-mapping technique to discover who has the most perfect face in the world, according to the ‘Greek Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi’, aka the golden ratio: 1.618.
Analysing the perfect proportion of facial features, including the eyes, nose, lips, chin and a total of 12 key points of the face, including those listed above, he found that Heard matched the ‘Greek Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi’ with 91.85% accuracy.
Kim K too?
Using that same facial-scanning technology, he also found that Kim Kardashian had the most scientifically perfect eyebrows, Scarlett Johansson the most scientifically perfect eyes and Emily Ratajkowski has the most scientifically perfect lips.
Using a composite of many famous and widely considered beautiful faces, Silva also created the most scientifically “perfect face” using Heard’s nose, Kardashian’s eyebrows, Johansson’s eyes, Ratajkowski’s lips, Rihanna’s face shape and Kate Moss’s forehead.
In June last year, Depp won his multi-million dollar lawsuit against ex-wife Amber Heard.
Depp was awarded $10.35m after his team successfully argued that Heard’s 2018 Washington Post op-ed, in which she spoke about being a victim of abuse, but did not name Depp, was defamatory.
Heard was awarded $2 million in her countersuit.
A number of appeals were launched on both sides following the ruling, but in December the pair finally settled the terms of the lawsuit after Heard agreed to pay Depp $1m.
