Please.

Rihanna has officially returned to music and while she may have only released one song, she’s still making an impact.

Following the release of Lift Me Up which features on the upcoming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack, Rihanna is now in talks to headline Glastonbury next year.

The singer is set to be playing the Superbowl 2023 Halftime Show in February next year too, so gigging is definitely back on her mind.

If the rumours are true for her to play Glastonbury, it will be the first time she will ever headline the UK festival.

A source told The UK Sun: “Rihanna has been approached about Glastonbury and next year’s festival would be just the right timing for her.

“She is a huge name for Worthy Farm and would be the perfect addition to the line-up.

“Everything about Rihanna’s music comeback is being closely guarded but her team has been talking with the Eavis family.”

This isn’t the first time Rihanna’s name has been thrown around for the festival, as she previously admitted: “I’d love to play Glastonbury.

“I have heard so many things about what happens there.

“I love rock music. I love Kings of Leon and The Prodigy. I like the more traditional rock bands, too: Aerosmith and Bon Jovi. I could rock the stage at Glastonbury, no question.”

As of right now, Arctic Monkeys have been confirmed to headline one of the days, with rumours that Taylor Swift may be also taking the main stage but with her latest tour announced, it is looking less likely.
