The chocolate in the container was that belong to DreiMeister. Speaking to a local paper, the chocolate factory’s boss, Markus Luckey said it would have been a “catastrophe” if it happened any closer to Christmas. The spill which occurred on Monday meant that the factory had to close for two days as they replenished their stock.
The chocolate flow hardened on the cold streets and took the 25 firefighters armed with hot water and shovels to scrape the treat off the ground. The firefighters worked together to remove 108 square feet of chocolate from the ground.

“Despite this heartbreaking incident, it is unlikely that a chocolate-free Christmas is imminent in Werl,” the fire department said in a statement, according to Reuters.
Well TG for that.
