This could mean a bit of disruption for commuters.
Pearse Train Station will shut down for 13 weekends in the next two years to undergo a roof revamp.
For years now, there has been protective net covering the station to catch any falling debris from the Victorian-era roof.
According to The Herald, the revamp will cost €10 million euro, and will be completed in 2020.
When the station closes, trains from Maynooth and Drogheda will only go as far as Connolly Station, while southside Darts and the Rosslare service will end at Grand Canal Dock.
Pearse Station opened in 1834 to facilitate the first rail line in Dublin.
