A Fleabag spinoff series is currently in the works

If you were as obsessed with Fleabag as we were, get prepared because there's a spin off series in the works. Actress and screenwriter Phoebe Waller-Bridge, the mastermind behind Fleabag, is starting to shoot her new series for Amazon Prime by the end of the year. Back in 2019, Waller-Bridge signed a deal with Amazon Studios to create and produce new television content exclusively for Amazon Prime Video. She was also the executive producer of BBC series Killing Eve and co-wrote the latest Bond film No Time To Die. [caption id="attachment_461347" align="alignnone" width="1365"] Phoebe Waller-Bridge[/caption] The new spin off series she is working on is the first since she signed the deal with Amazon Prime, with Waller-Bridge saying at the time: "I’m insanely excited to be continuing my relationship with Amazon. “Working with the team on Fleabag was the creative partnership dreams are made of. “It really feels like home. I can’t wait to get going.” The deal is set to be worth around 20 million dollars per year, according to Variety while Deadline claims the deal is worth in the eight-figure region for a three-year deal. While the specific details of the new series aren't known yet as the project is being kept very much under wraps but Amazon has confirmed reports of a new show on the way.
