The one-year-old girl remains in a critical condition.
An infant female child remains in critical condition following an incident that occurred at a property in the Castleblayney area of Monaghan on Monday (3 August).
The child, aged one-year-old, was discovered in a water feature on the property and was air lifted to Temple Street Children’s University Hospital.
She is currently in the hospital, where she is said to be in a critical condition.
Gardaí have said that following initial enquiries, the incident is being treated as a tragic accident.
Investigations are ongoing.
