A plane carrying 133 passengers has crashed in China, state television has reported.
The China Eastern Airlines Boeing 737 plane crashed following an “accident” in the Guangxi mountains near the city of Wuzhou in Teng county, in southwest China.
The plane was travelling from Kunming to Guangzhou and had 133 passengers on board. Sky News reports that it is not yet known how many fatalities have been recorded.
State TV network CCTV said that the crash causes a fire in the mountains.
Emergency services have since been dispatched to the scene.
