Aer Lingus has confirmed that all flights in and out of Ireland after 3pm today are cancelled until Saturday.
The airline said that due to the severe weather conditions brought on by the Beast from the East and Storm Emma, no flights will be operating to or from Dublin, Shannon, Cork, or Belfast airports.
All operations will end today at 3pm and hopefully resume on Saturday.

– All arrivals and departures from DUB, SNN, ORK and BHD on Friday are cancelled. Eastbound transatlantic flights are scheduled to operate.

This comes after Ryanair cancelled all of their flights in and out of the country yesterday.
They have since said that they too expected further cancellations today and tomorrow.
They said:
“Due to continuing adverse weather conditions, Ryanair expects further flight delays and cancellations at airports today and tomorrow.”
Dublin Bus, Irish Rail, and the Luas have also suspended all of their services for the day.
A status red weather warning was issued for the entire country last night.
People are being urged to stay indoors from 4pm today until 12pm tomorrow.
Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has told the public not to underestimate the strength of the storm.
