This week, we really tested this car to the max, taking a trip from Dublin to Galway, on to Limerick, down to Cork, up to Kilkenny and back to Dublin. Phew! That’s a LOT of driving so how did the Corsa fare out?

Soooo pretty!

As usual, we’ll start with the first thing that catches our eye and that has to be the look of the car. We got decked out with a blinging red Corsa and we felt like rockstars heading down the motorway (we accompanied this with extremely loud singing to the radio of course).

Tech-tastic

Similar to the Astra, the Corsa has so many gadgets and high-tech controls that at first, we didn’t know where to start… But we did spend a lot of time oohing and aahing over every little thing. Too much fun.

Pack it up!

The Corsa has a good-sized boot perfect for fitting everything you need for an epic road trip around the country. We managed to squeeze in all our camera equipment, two pretty big suitcases, one gear bag and two shopping bags full of obligatory road trip junk food. And there was room left over.

Warm all over

Designed for comfort, the highlight of our trip with the new Corsa had to be the heated seats and steering wheel. After standing out on football pitches for hours on end, there was nothing nicer than climbing back in to cozy warmth. Could you imagine this in winter? Di-vine.

All with a kick

Despite not having the 1.6 engine of the Astra, the Corsa drives with a kick and you won’t really notice the drop in size.  Smooth transitions, and easy control thanks to the parking sensors and hill start assists – it really couldn’t be easier.

It’s got it all

From the handy USB plug to the IntelliLink audio, to the ECO drive option and rain sense wipers this car really does have everything you need.

It’s all about the money

Easy enough on your pocket, the Corsa is perfect for nipping in around the cities, while it takes to the challenge of motorways and long driving with style.

Our star rating?

A fantastic 4/5.

And on that note… (we couldn’t resist!)
