An extensive analysis of over 110,000 motor insurance customers revealed that those born between October 23 and November 21 are getting ‘stung’ with the most penalty points on Irish roads.

Famous Scorpios include Katy Perry, Leonardo DiCaprio and Bill Gates.

Scorpio is typically regarded as a passionate sign, and those born under it are strong-willed and resourceful.

There was further bad news for winter babies in the data, with "spontaneous and adventurous" Sagittarians taking second place.

As for the drivers least likely to attract penalty points? Taureans will be delighted with the data, as it seems to indicate they are anything but bullish on the roads.
