The truth behind this year’s Leaving Cert results has been revealed.
Now that all students have received their results, we are in a legally secure position where we can analyse the data and use the information going forward to help try to better the system for all. It’s like a Census for education.
This year’s results have revealed some very interesting data. We spoke to some outgoing Leaving Certificate students and really appreciated their honesty. Here lies the truth.
Many of the students described the Leaving Cert as “a load of me hole”, “stupid like” and “pointless, even though it’s all about points lol”. We can safely conclude that they are outraged with Ireland’s current system and want a complete overhaul. We look forward to the Department of Education’s response to this data.
